Daddy was a special man, He stood for many things, Heaven gained a treasure, When Daddy got his wings. He left this world, it broke our hearts, And broke our family chain, But with all the treasured memories, In our lives he will remain. He left behind a world of friends, He met throughout his life, Now he walks the streets of heaven, Free from pain and strife. His blood runs deep throughout our veins, And with the legacy he left behind, We'll stand up tall and face it all, Hold on to ties that bind. There's an emptiness in our world now, Because Daddy, he was our rock, Wish we could see his face again, Turn back the hands on the clock. Thank you God for Daddy, He gave us unconditional love, The best gift our mother gave us, Now he watches from above. Give our love to Daddy, Please tell him all these things, Keep him safe within your care, Now that Daddy has his wings. Happy Birthday Daddy “Your little girl” Jackie Daddy wanted to live to see his 80th Birthday.. He didn’t make it.. We all miss you Dad.. Your kids, grandkids and great-grandkids..
