| WHEN AT LAST
by Evelyn Heinz(11/29/92) When at last our children are grown. When the last song is sung. When the last poem is written. When the last prayer is said. When the last teardrops are shed. When the last mountain is climbed. When the last ray of sun has shined. When the last star comes out at night. When the last loaf of bread is baked just right. When the last race is ran and won And all my earthly chores are done. When the last laugh rings out, There is no doubt... The face of God will look down at me and I'll be eternally home, with thee. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ LEFT-OVER LOVE by Evelyn Heinz(1031/92) Weeping may come in the night But joy always follows in the morning, tis true. Still my tears fall free without stopping....like raindrops in a thunderstorm do. You are gone! I accept that. The falling tears are just "left-over love" I have for you. (poems in memory of my husband John, 2/8/38 to 7/29/92) |

| Here is a photo from our informal 25th. Wedding Anniv. party
held in our backyard for family and friends. Good memories of days gone by. I had t-shirts made for the whole family. The white stork was the family crest for the name HEINZ. On my sister's I had "maid of honor" written on the front and on my brother-in-law's "best man". He teased and said, "told you I was the best man." On the back of the t-shirts was written "Heinz's 7 Varieties going strong for 25 years." (Cause we had 7 children!) |
