Robert Kent Clark, 44, Racine, died at 11:13 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at his home. He was born July 9, 1963, to Charles and Bernadine (Poehl) Clark in Freeport, Texas. Mr. Clark graduated from Hillcrest High School in Springfield, in 1981. He attended Wichita Business College, where he received his associates in business degree. He had worked as manager of Wendy’s in Neosho, and worked for 20 years at Leggett & Platt as a mechanical engineer in research and development, retiring in 2006 due to ill health. He attended the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church. He was a loving husband and father. He is survived by a daughter, Kaci Ann Clark and a son, Robert Ethan Clark, both of Webb City; his parents, pastor Charles Wesley and Bernadine Clark, Tolleson, Ariz.; a sister, Catrece Deyon Penney and husband, Steve, Tonapah, Ariz.; his grandmother, Virginia Clark, Racine; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Darin Clark, July 12, 2007; a paternal grandfather, Charles S. Clark, and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Poehl. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Charles Clark and Pastor Ken Robinson officiating. |
