Each day in life we're shattered By hate and fear and loss Our lives in constant battle This burden now life's cross Each child is a precious promise Of the future they will find Their dreams are all now faded With evil hate defined Such innocence and beauty Is lost by evil deed Upon the weak and precious These predators succeed Families torn and broken By hate that seems to thrive Upon the hate of little ones How can our hearts survive We seek to find the answers Yet no one can explain How innocence and beauty Is torn with such disdain Our hearts must find the answer Our souls must never rest We must protect our little ones Such sadness in this quest The land of life is precious With dreams a child should seek Each fairy tale a blessing Within their hearts to keep Protect and hold them closely Each one in life belongs Watch them very carefully They each are our heart's songs. |

RIVERTON,WYOMING IN MEMORY OF MARCELLA HOPE YELLOWBEAR.. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against the parents of a 22-month-old girl who police say was abused to death. Macalia Marcine Blackburn, 22, and Andrew John Yellowbear Jr., 29, both of Riverton, are charged with first-degree murder in the death of their child, Marcella Hope Yellowbear. The little girl suffered broken bones and burns. She had burns, bruises and sores, that wouldn't heal and were decaying. A broken arm,that was never going to heal, because it was a spiral fracture (caused by her arm being twisted and broken) a fractured skull, third-degree burns to her hand from her hand being placed in a pan of boiling water, burns on her feet from a lighter to wake her up when she passed out, and a hole in her chin.. Her scalp was pulled away from her skull, from being pulled by her hair, and her hair pulled out in patches. She was made to stand in one place all day and not move.. She died in a closet hung there by her mother, from suspenders on her pants. She was propped up by a 2 X 4. The reason she was hung in there? She couldn’t stand up. There were a lot more injuries to this little girl. This abuse took place over about 2 months...police say. The child was pronounced dead at the Riverton Memorial Hospital on July 2 2005. By ANTHONY LANE Star-Tribune staff writer Yellowbear faces two charges of first-degree murder and two charges of being an accessory before the fact to first-degree murder. The verdict came in.. He got life in Prison. The mother plea bargained and got 20 years I believe. |
