A shadow falls upon my heart in the midst of the darkened skies. Creating an undesirable pain from the reality of our demise. I thought I could withstand The empty feeling from within, But the inconsistent love you portrayed Broke my heart again. I tried to look to God to give me the strength to hold on. I guess he never heard me because things are still so wrong. What in this life did I do To deserve all of this pain? I tried to do everything right Though my tears still fall like rain. Ill never understand Why your heart remains closed. All I did was love you with all of my heart and soul. Seems to me your passion remains to be unseen. Although you claim to love me The truth is still a mystery. The question of what went wrong, circles through my head. Never finding the answer, will haunt me until Im dead.
