I have such a special friend, she's seen a lot of years, And that is why I like her so Because she comforts all my fears. Whatever I may chat about, she always loves to hear, Oh how much I love my granny pal For she is just so dear. Anytime I have some happy news, or a woeful tale to tell, My granny pal will listen She's sure my kind of gal. For she's been a little girl, and knows about true love, Her mother heart is pure and kind With trust in God above. I like to listen to her memories, and all she can discern For I learn so much of life From all of her concern.
