Latest News -- Chris LeDoux lost his battle with cancer of the bile duct at age 56.
He died Wednesday March 9, 2005 at a hospital in Casper. His body was cremated
Thursday March 10, 2005 per his wishes. Chris has been inducted into the
Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame (July 16, 2005)

Music by Chris LeDoux.. I was lucky enough to meet him several times and I even got to dance with him one night.
Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal has proclaimed July 30, 2005,
the last day of Cheyenne (Wyo.) Frontier Days, as Chris LeDoux Day
throughout the state. LeDoux competed in the Cheyenne rodeo several
times and also performed at the event six times in past years.

LeDoux joined the PRCA in 1968 and qualified for the National Finals Rodeo
five times. He retired from rodeo in 1980 and was inducted into the
Old West Museum Hall of Fame in Cheyenne, Wyo., in 2003.

Born in Biloxi, Miss., on Oct. 2, 1948, LeDoux grew up in Austin, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Peggy; his mother, Bonnie;
and his five children, Clay, Ned, Will, Cindy and Beau.

They live in Kaycee, Wyoming.
